Workshop

bike repair islington

Mosquito Bikes began life as a dedicated bicycle workshop in Dalston in 1984. Mosquito has changed a lot since then but the workshop has remained at the heart of what we do. Today the workshop is run by one of the most experienced bike mechanics in London, Sarn Baggett, alongside Mosquito director Roger who oversees the custom builds.

– On the spot repairs. We are now able to accept ‘on the spot’ repairs with no prior appointment, any day between 10-12. Just pop by, tea or coffee while you wait.

Repairs & Servicing

To simplify your choices, we have created a service menu to help you select the most appropriate level of work for your bike. If your needs are more specific please ask for a quote. We are happy to do most repairs; whether it’s replacing an inner tube, building a new set of wheels, or overhauling suspension forks. A list of common jobs can be found at the bottom of this page.

Handbuilt wheels:
With over 25 years of wheelbuilding experience Roger can advise on just the right wheels for the job.
With the wide range of hubs, rim and spoke options we have at our disposal: if it can be built, we will build it.

Fast Repairs:
Same day servicing is available if the bike is booked into the workshop in advance and delivered to us before 10am that day.

If you just need some advice on how to make your bike safer and ride better, just pop in and discuss your requirements. Advice is free.
To book an appointment please call us on 020 7226 8765 or email mail@mosquito-bikes.co.uk.
